Tristan Tyler

Tristan is a joy to be around. He was born on October 6, 1997. His sweet nature was evident from the first time that I met him.

Tristan spends half of his time with his mom and half of his time with us, which is kind of difficult, but we've gotten used to it.

Tristan was 3 when Tyler and Anna got married, and he's been an amazing gift for Anna. He was able to be sealed to his dad and Anna in July of 2003, and so Anna thinks of him as hers.

Tristan is a very smart boy with lots of love to give. His grades are consistently A's and B's, putting him in the top of his grade level. His favorite subjects are Science, P.E., and Computers.

Tristan is really good with kids, whether he's just playing or babysitting, he makes an excellent companion. His cousins, friends, and siblings all love to be around him. His sweet personality and loving nature are two of the things he has to offer to another sibling. His hope is for another baby
and another sibling that's a little older. Someone that's closer to his own age. He would love to have someone else to play with.

Some of Tristan's favorite things to do are play video games, watch movies, read fantasy fiction books, create animated shorts on his computer with his special stick figure software, ride his bike and scooter, and play football.

Tristan is excited about adding more kids to our family. He hopes to be able to help us realize our dream as soon as possible.

Nathan Thomas

Nathan was born on September 3, 2003, at 6:16am after being at the hospital ALL NIGHT LONG! My labor with him started and stopped and started and then stopped again...

Needless to say, that was a frustrating and exhausting experience. But at the end of it all, we had this beautiful little baby boy. He has been an amazing addition to our family.

Nathan is very kind and loving, even though he
has quite the temper. He handles it well, though, and is getting better all the time.

Nathan is very creative, and his teachers say they won't be surprised if he becomes an engineer or something like that. I won't be surprised if he decides to be a rocket scientist or something like that, either. He's very particular and very smart, so he won't have any trouble doing anything like that.

Nathan loved going to preschool, and he's looking forward to kindergarten. He just had his graduation from preschool, and he was so proud! Nathan is very smart and wants to be a diver in the Olympics and then a doctor. I keep encouraging him to follow his dreams. I think he'll be a great doctor or engineer or anything he decides to do!

Nathan is an awesome big brother, always playing with his younger siblings and taking them for walks. At night, more often than not, I will find him reading books to his younger brother and sister. He will sit and cuddle with me a lot and read to me sometimes.

Logan Dennis

Logan was boy number 3 and Preemie number 1. He was our late Christmas present, surprising us by coming on December 28, 2004, even though his due date wasn't until January 27...

Logan has been full of surprises ever since. He surprised us just before he was born by turning around, so the poor boy was born backwards - bum first!

Then, when he was about 7 or 8 months old, he surprised us once again when his car seat fell off of a shopping cart and onto the pavement in the parking lot. He spent the night in the hospital with a cracked skull.

When he was about 2 1/2, he surprised us yet again with bad enamel on his teeth and a milk allergy. He ended up having to get several crowns and fillings in his teeth, and because he was so little they had to do it at the hospital with poor little Logan under anethesia. His milk allergy had made it so that he wasn't growing, and he was constantly hungry because he wouldn't eat anything because his tummy didn't feel good from drinking the milk...

You get the idea. Logan has surprised us in many ways, not all of them bad or costly. He surprised us when he said his first word. No "Mama" or "Dada" for him. No, when Logan decided it was time to talk, it was "Jesus" that he said first.

Logan is a happy 4 year old now. He loves going to preschool and playing with his friends there. He loves anything Pixar or Disney or Nickelodeon. His current favorites are anything Lightning McQueen or Buzz Lightyear, and the new additions Wall-E, Bolt, Ironman, and Superman.

He really enjoys his older brothers and his younger sister. He enjoys playing video games with his biggest brother, riding bikes with his next oldest brother, and rolling the ball back and forth with his little sister. He is excited about the possibility of another child joining our family.

He is already an amazing brother, and we know he will continue
to be!

Lydia Anna

Lydia was born on May 4, 2008. She was a little early and really small, so she spent some time in the NICU before she was able to come home. She was born at 4 lbs. 7 oz. and only 16 inches long! She came home at 4 lbs. 11 oz. and now she weighs almost 19 lbs! It's hard to believe that she wore doll dresses to church.

Lydia is on track with her development so far, and loves to chase after her brothers and spend time with her daddy and her grandma and grandpa, but no one is better than Mommy! :) Some of her favorite things to do are play with her ball, look at shoes, eat noodles, listen and dance to music, and play the piano. She also loves babies and other kids. So far, she is our peacemaker.

We think that Lydia will be an awesome big sister!
